The Aleators are sets of multi-sided dice (approximately 1" each) that represent musical intervals. They can used as catalysts for musical improvisation or games of chance.

The dodecahedron contains all 12 colors, one for each tone in the Western chromatic scale. The pair of 6-sided dice represent the two possible sets of whole tone scales. Three 4-sided quadrilaterals illustrate the minor thirds.
